They tell me, 'I don’t have time to exercise, eat healthily, sleep and keep on top of the mental load of Motherhood' and 'I know I still need to do things for me, but I feel so guilty about it!'

In this rejuvenating 3hr session, I will help you go from exhausted and overwhelmed to feeling re-energised and reconnected to yourself.
I can do this because I’ve been where you are…(for most of my Motherhood) I was overwhelmed and in a constant state of high alert.
But I’ve learnt over the years that it’s so important to prioritise your own needs, as a woman and a Mother. Your needs are everything!
You are important and you deserve time to fill up your cup.

May is a Spring Special.
You deserve to be celebrated every day but this is an extra special evening to do something just for YOU!
This month we’ll be making super cool Punch Needle Coasters!
Plus you get to keep your equipment so you can keep it up at home. It’s such an amazing way to look after your mental health.
Come and spend a few hours reconnecting and remind yourself of exactly how fabulous you are.
So come and join us and bring your fave mums to celebrate with or gift to a special mama in your life.
All The Wonderhood Retreats include the following:

Think herbal teas and Cacao. And get to drink it while it’s actually still warm for a change. Cacao is ‘Full Power Cacao’ as seen on Dragons Den and is suitable for pregnancy.

We’ll start with some breathwork which is a great grounding technique. So that you can top up your oxygen levels and feel fully replenished and ready to take on the world.

Lie down and have a nap while your nervous system chills out and resets. I’ll talk you through it every step of the way.

Because all mama’s need some healing energy. Our body is full of energy and sometimes it can get stuck, Reiki is a way of shifting that stuck energy.

Switch off your mind and let your body take over. Release any stored stress, anxiety or emotion. Stretch, shake, twist or dance to your heart's content.

A warm, nutritious and seasonal home cooked bowl of goodness. So you can take the night off and have your tea cooked for you. We can cater for all dietary requirements, you can let me know on the booking form.

We’ll have a new mindful craft every month. Creativity gets you into your ‘flow’ state. It’s a great way to rebalance the overwhelm that motherhood brings.

Spending time out focusing on YOU surrounded by other wonderful women is a great way to reconnect to yourself and reset.
Meet your host
Sam Meachin
I’m a mum of two beautiful babies, Raife 5 and Aria 3.
I’m also a graphic designer, a birth worker and an advocate for maternal mental health.
I’ve suffered with anxiety for most of my life without really realising, until I gave birth to Raife. He was my wake up call.
I suffered with postnatal anxiety and birth trauma which catapulted me into the world of birth work, maternal mental health and postpartum care. Through finding my own way to heal from my experiences I realised that so many other women need this support too.
So I created The Wonderhood to support women on their wild journey through motherhood and parenthood. To hold space for you to process, heal and grow as a woman and a mother.

Where is the session held?
At Creative Calm Studio in Prestwich, North Manchester. So excited to have snagged this cosy venue for the night.

What should I wear?
Please wear whatever you like 😊
We’ll be lying down and moving / stretching out a bit so something you are comfortable in, but there’s obviously paint involved so nothing too fancy.
What’s mindfulness?
If you’ve not done anything like this before, I assure you it’ll be so relaxing. All you need to do is come with an open mind and listen as I guide you through the rest.
Is it only for mums?
This event has been designed for mums and I would love to save the limited spaces for mums. But the session would have so many benefits for ALL Women tbh so if you are really called to join but aren’t a mum then please email me sam@thewonderhood.co.uk and I’ll let you know if we have any spaces left.
